When a vehicle is rented from Blueway Car Rental is subject to certain restrictions and a limitation under the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, the Customer is fully responsible for any loss or damage to the rental vehicle regardless of cause.
Where Collision Damage Waiver/CDW/ is offered and accepted by the Customer an additional daily charge will be paid, Blueway Car Rental will waive all, or a portion of, our right to collect from you for damage to the rented vehicle caused by collision or upset. The amount of your responsibility varies according to the type of vehicle you rent. We will not waive our right to collect for comprehensive losses such as fire, theft, vandalism, flood, hail, or acts of God. In addition there are other exclusions from Collision Damage Waiver. Please read the back of the Blueway Car Rental Agreement for a complete list of exclusions. If at the time of rental the Customer cannot present proof of Mexican coverage for loss or damage to the rental vehicle he/she will be required to purchase CDW as a condition of rental. International travelers should be prepared to present valid proof of conforming coverage including a description of coverage of the rental vehicle. CDW is offered only where permitted by Law.

As you know CDW has a deductible responsible according to the rented vehicle. This coverage offers the reduction of the deductible until to 50% below the regular cost for deductible. Same regulations apply for restrictions of the CDW and benefits. This insurance only reduces the responsibility to half of the price for deductible.

To have this insurance purchased, customer has to have previous accepted the CDW and then, this insurance will take off any responsibility from customer to pay any posible deductible cost. Restriction apply, and this protection can be purchased only at the rental counter.

By electing to purchase optional PAI coverage at the designated daily rate, the renter and any of his passengers are insured while occupying the rental vehicle subject to all provisions of the group policy.

Additional drivers must meet the minimum age requirements; present a valid driver license and a valid credit card. All policies applied to the main driver will be applied to the additional driver.

Since fees and permissible vehicle types vary by location, it's best to find the underage requirement in most MEXICO´S cities where you are renting prior to picking up your rental.
In most MEXICO´S states, rather than requiring customers to be 25 to rent, for customers between the ages of 21-25 with the following provisions:
• Renters 21-25 must present a valid, acceptable credit card (debit cards are not permitted) and a valid driver's license
• at time of rental, an additional $15-per-day underage surcharge for these drivers will be applied.
• Drivers between the ages of 21-25 will not be permitted to rent luxury cars, mini vans, 12-passenger vans, specialty vehicles, full-size SUVs or premium SUVs.
• If a renter wishes to add an additional driver to the rental policy, the second driver must be 25 or older, and present a credit or debit card. There are some select locations that do not accept a debit card. It is always best to check the terms and conditions on your online reservation confirmation or on the location information page.
• If you plan to pre-pay your rental and are under 25 years of age, underage charges will be added at the counter and will need to be paid at car return. Your prepayment amount will be used as a credit toward the final costs of the rental. All vehicles are rented with a full tank of gasoline and must be returned full. Pre-paid fuel options are available. Please check at rental counter for details.
Pay in advance for a full tank of fuel and bring the car back empty. Our rates for this Fuel Service Option are comparable to the current local retail pump price. If you select this option, you should bring the car back as close to empty as possible, because no credit will be given for unused fuel.
